There are 5 tools in this Carpenter tool kit:

Two ways to test the verticality of a wall:
1. Put your iPhone back-to-back onto the wall you measure (Recommended).
If the shadow of the plumb bob is on X axis (y equals zero), it then indicates your wall is perfectly straight and vertical to the ground. Please note that in this way the reading of "x" does NOT have to be zero.
The back of 3G iPhone is not totally flat. But it's accurate enough just to use the flat part of your 3G iPhone.
2. Put one edge of your iPhone on the wall you measure.

- HOW TO MEASURE THE SLOPE OF A SURFACE
A few ways to measure the slope of a surface:
1. Use the Surface Level (Recommended).
Put your iphone onto the inclined surface (The edge of iPhone should be in line with the slope direction of the surface. To verify this, just to check whether the reading of "y" is around zero).
The reading of "x" is the slope angle of the measured surface.
2. Use the bubble level bar
Put one edge or back of your iPhone stick to the inclined surface (The edge of iPhone should be in line with the slope direction of the surface).
The reading is the slope angle of the measured surface.
If the surface is almost vertical to the ground, we suggest that you use the plumb bob tool to measure the surface instead.

It even looks like a real flashlight with your choice of bulbs!

Adjusting the Brightness
The brightness of the flashlight can quickly be adjusted to fit your situation. The phone is surprisingly bright in the dark, sometimes too bright! There are no complicated dialogs or popups, since it may be too dark to see them. Instead, to adjust the flashlight brightness, simply slide your finger up and an down, or left and right, anywhere on the screen. This setting will be remembered and used again next time your run your flashlight. While in use, Flashlight disables any automatic screen dimming or locking.
Tip: If you want to make your flashlight even brighter, you can increase your device's maximum Brightness level through the Settings application.
Choosing a Flashlight Style
Flashlight comes with a variety of different styles of flashlights for use in different situations or to fit your personal preference. To change to a new flashlight type, just double tap anywhere on the screen to cycle through the available options. Some flashlight choices are purely aesthetic, while others are more functional. Your choices of flashlight graphics include:
* different light bulb graphics (incandescent, fluorescent, etc)
* colored lenses in various styles
* plain, solid color backgrounds (no graphics, for maximum light output)
There are four different colors available amongst the different flashlight types. The colored flashlights are useful in a variety of situations.
* Red - good for preserving night vision. A good astronomy flashlight.
* Green - works well with night vision goggles, or in the forest
* Blue - a soft cool light, low impact on night vision in the early dawn. A good hunter flashlight.
* Yellow - softer and more pleasing than white light.
When you start your flashlight, it will always use your previous flashlight style.

Two of the reviews mention the app not working after a couple of days. This is a rare issue, and we have an update coming that will fix this. Prime time for garage sales is typically Thursday - Saturday in most areas. If you don't see many sales on a Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday, check back the evenings of Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday - usually many more sales will post.
If you are wondering if there will be a lot of garage sales in your region or not, a good approximation will be whether or not garage sales near you are typically posted to craigslist... If they are, this app will work great for you. If sales typically are not posted to craigslist, or if you are in a more rural area, then this app probably won't provide the desired results.

Ghost Radar employs a proprietary algorithm to analyze the quantum flux. This application does NOT detect EMF nor gravity. Readings for various sensors on iPhone/iPod are analyzed to detect QUANTUM Fluctuations. Interpretations of the sensor readings are displayed graphically as blips on the radar along with numeric and textual readouts.
You can temporarily use Ghost Radar as an extra source of light, like a flashlight, in a dark environment. If you're wandering the dark, using Ghost Radar to search for the paranormal and need a bit of extra light just swipe Ghost Radar from the bottom to the top and the screen will instantly turn a bright white, then tap the screen to return to the radar. On the other hand, if Ghost Radar is too bright for your nightly adventure just swipe the radar from right to left and the screen will go dark, touch the screen again and the radar will return to view. Neither the bright screen nor the dark screen have any effect on the radar doing its job. The radar continues to function even when you can't see it. And with Ghost Radar's speech synthesizer you will be able to hear when something is happening.

Fingerprint Scanning with precision accuracy right on your iPhone or iPod Touch. If you want to fool your friends and co-workers into thinking your iPhone is a sophisticated fingerprint scanner, this is the application for you. This application simulates the scanning of fingerprints, the verification of fingerprints against known good fingerprints, and granting of access to virtual resources.
You select the outcome of the scan by briefly touching the refresh control button. Click it once and all fingerprint scans are "access denied", click it again and all scans are "random"; approved or denied. This allows you to scan your fingerprint and get "access granted", then touch the control button as you hand the device to friends and family, then watch their reaction when they get "access denied" to their fingerprint scan. The Random mode is fun at parties and other social functions.
This fingerprint scanning application is for entertainment purposes only and does not actually provide fingerprint scanning capability to your iPhone or iPod Touch, although only you will know.
Quick Instructions:
1. Place finger on scanner glass [orange box - bottom right].
2. Hold finger in place until scanning is complete.
3. Wait for scan results.
4. Holding down the refresh button will clear the results of the last scan. The results will also auto clear in a few seconds.
How to change the Scan Results
1. Set scan result by briefly touching the refresh button [top right button].
2. The LED Display will indicate "All Scans Pass", "All Scans Fail", or "Random". This toggles between the options.
Recommended for fans of Fingerprint Security, Flight Control, iBeer, Wobble, GunSmoke, iGernade, Stick Wars, and Heat Pad.
Note: First generation iPod Touch devices will need to plug in headphones to hear audio.
